FAQs
What does a typical match day look like?
Teams will play three matches within that half day schedule.
Can clubs play both OVL and OVA?
The OVL schedule was designed to allow teams to easily compete in both leagues.
How much does it cost?
Each competition day will cost $400+HST.
Can I enter multiple teams?
We welcome all teams based on availability.
What if I'm an independent coach?
We welcome qualified independent coaches. You must meet minimum criteria (team size, training
frequency, etc.)
What are the benefits of becoming a Charter Club Partner?
Charter Partners get access to:
- Collaboration opportunities through sharing facilities to expand the league.
- Preferred scheduling
- Input on formats, rules, and facility use
- First access to future programming (clinics, tournaments)
How many teams are in each division ?
We have room for 24 teams per age group for our 3 divisions.
Is there a minimum amount of competition dates you must register for to participate?
There is no minimum amount of competition dates to sign up for – teams can sign up for 1 or more event – we do recommend minimum three events and strongly encourage teams to sign up for our two day championship in May.
What is the competition format?
In our first year, we plan to organize our events so that teams play approximately 3×1 hour long matches within a half day schedule. We will be using a ladder system to provide the most games possible against teams of each skill, experience, abilities.
